The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Spooner. Light Darkness ended up behind the leader. Għant got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Għant quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Spooner galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Għant clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Għant didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Għant gallopped 10 m after 2000m.



Spooner galloped way to long and was disqualified. Għant were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Light Darkness never caught up with Għant who won. Spooner came third.
