The weather had been good all week and Tornio was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Uptown Downtown found a gap and took the lead. Gentle Voice followed before Fernande. Megan Again was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gentle Voice sprinted to the front.




Perfect Giggle sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Gentle Voice accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Gentle Voice looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Fernande sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
