It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Michelangelo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Old Rocker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Cosmic Guy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Michelangelo saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Michelangelo started to gallop after 1500m and Björn Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Michelangelo sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Michelangelo was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Old Rocker was first on the homestretch followed by Cosmic Guy and Michelangelo.

Michelangelo galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Cosmic Guy won. Sunset Glow came in second. Old Rocker caught third place.
