The sun was shining on Kannus today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tina found a gap and took the lead. Megan Again followed before Windy Midnight.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Megan Again sprinted to the front.




Windy Midnight took the lead after 1000m. Megan Again didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
