It had been raining for several days at Lindesberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Gherkin Moussolou tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Quilly Du Marais that came steaming ahead. Gherkin Moussolou was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Strong Band quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. The leader got disturbed by something and Dribbling Rocker took the lead rather easily. Dribbling Rocker was still in the lead after 1500m. High Again suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Quilly Du Marais won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
