One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Speeding Pain tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Choir Amour that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Rumbling Ship started to galop and lost 40 m.

Rumbling Ship saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Riotstarter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Choir Amour couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rumbling Ship.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rumbling Ship followed by Speeding Pain and Windt. Lane two Riotstarter followed by Choir Amour and Relaxing Rocker.

Riotstarter showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Rumbling Ship sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Speeding Pain, 2 Choir Amour, 3 Rumbling Ship.
