One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vaultier tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sophisticated Top that came steaming ahead. Midnight Flyer was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Carl Johan Jepson wanted a little to much in the start and Sophisticated Top galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Vaultier sprinted to the front.




Midnight Flyer took the lead after 1000m. Vaultier didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Midnight Flyer was still in the lead after 1500m.



Midnight Flyer were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Vaultier won the race after a spectacular finish.
