It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Hadeikum found a gap and took the lead. Stepping Cocktail followed before Alex Flower. Netty suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Netty to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Chocolat galoped for 10 m. Camille was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Stepping Cocktail sprinted to the front. Européen sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Netty accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Netty sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Hadeikum made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Stepping Cocktail. Results
