It had been raining for several days at Kannus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Malkin Zilly took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




La Nouvelle Force sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
