The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kannus today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tunaandweed tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sia that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tunaandweed sprinted to the front.




Zerafa took the lead after 1000m. Sia didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Zerafa today. It continued in the lead.



Zerafa kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
