The sun was shining on Kalmar and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were The Clubber. Der Steppenwolf ended up behind the leader. Sjufyrasju Ameste got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Der Steppenwolf was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sjufyrasju Ameste sprinted to the front.




The Clubber sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one The Clubber followed by Sjufyrasju Ameste and Calming Sergeant. Lane two Der Steppenwolf followed by Nihilisten Ameste and Snowy Band. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Snowy Band gallopped for 40 m.




The Clubber didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



The Clubber kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Snowy Band was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Winner of todays race was The Clubber. Der Steppenwolf came in second. Sjufyrasju Ameste became third.
