The weather had been good all week and Hagmyren was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frosty Flower found a gap and took the lead. Avril followed before Helaine.




Frosty Flower was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Helaine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Helaine was still in the lead after 1500m.



Helaine sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Avril sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
