Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Albatross Cherry took the lead after a very quick start. Hans R Strömberg wanted a little to much in the start and Interstellar galoped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Straight Right, Vangelis Superior, Curletto, Interstellar, Ringwald, Albatross Cherry, Inkas Gistna, Nessla Pic Bayle. Amazing Cup started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Curletto took the lead rather easily. Vangelis Superior galloped way to long and was disqualified. Amazing Cup was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Inkas Gistna accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Albatross Cherry was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Straight Right speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Albatross Cherry sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
