The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Bishop. Cateline ended up behind the leader. Snowy Platinum got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Snowy Platinum quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Cateline galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Lyxwaux who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Trainer Express looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bishop couldn't come out from behind the leader, Snowy Platinum.




Snowy Platinum was still in the lead after 1500m.



Snowy Platinum sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Monday Starshine galop. Monday Starshine lost 20 m.




Bishop never caught up with Snowy Platinum who won. Trainer Express came third.
