One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Angel Eyes sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Sad Power to trotting so they were disqualified. Erik Adielsson wanted a little to much in the start and Next In Line galoped for 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Gouverneur looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Elegance Beauty couldn't come out from behind the leader, Angel Eyes. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Angel Eyes followed by Gouverneur and Amazing Heat. Lane two Elegance Beauty followed by Beauty Of Passion and Bringing The Beat.

With only a little left of the race Sad Power galoped for 10 m. Angel Eyes kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Gouverneur sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
