It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sharp Edge took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Reloaded, Greaseball, Kiryukhin, Ghostly Rose, Sharp Edge, Nice Meeting You, Steel Valley, Polvere Signora.

The leader got disturbed by something and Kiryukhin took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Kiryukhin followed by Sharp Edge and Reloaded. Lane two Nice Meeting You followed by Steel Valley and Ghostly Rose.

Kiryukhin kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Sharp Edge made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Nice Meeting You.
