The sun was shining on Kalajoki today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Gioia Doro took the lead after a very quick start. This is the positions after 500m. Narkissos Timashow, Swinging Nugget, Diamond Ring, Gioia Doro, , , , . Narkissos Timashow clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Narkissos Timashow followed by Gioia Doro and . Lane two Diamond Ring followed by Swinging Nugget and . Swinging Nugget started to gallop after 1500m and Arna Ruohomäki had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Narkissos Timashow were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Swinging Nugget sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
