The sun was shining on Kalajoki and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funny was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Tunaandweed was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Suikun-ero suddenly started to galop. Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get Suikun-ero to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Zerafa, Suikun-ero, Malkin Sancho, Goodbye To Sandra Dee, Funny, Papercut, Tunaandweed, .




The leader got disturbed by something and Malkin Sancho took the lead rather easily.




Malkin Sancho was still in the lead after 1500m. Suikun-ero showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Papercut galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Funny speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Funny. Malkin Sancho came in second. Zerafa became third.
