The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wolly Lemonade was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Claretta started to galop and lost 20 m.




Wolly Lemonade was in fine shape and held the lead.




Claretta looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Heavenly Godiva couldn't come out from behind the leader, Wolly Lemonade.
