One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Nessla Jazztobak tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Carlos Kickan that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Reagan Hof started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Decisive Dream, De Gea The Man, Roselia, Papecio Pegasos, Nessla Jazztobak, Carlos Kickan, Attaboy Lore, Jazzy Jill Cherry.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Decisive Dream was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Attaboy Lore gallopped for 10 m. Wigwam started to gallop after 1500m and Dwight Pieters had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Roselia litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Nessla Jazztobak won the race after a spectacular finish.
