Only a humble breeze blew over Åmål this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Close Hero was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Charmed Cocktail was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Close Hero clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Slow Pirate galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Close Hero was still in the lead after 1500m. U.f.o galloped for 50 m.




Fake Thing put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Brown Bullet was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.




Fake Thing was safely in the lead after 2500m.



Fake Thing kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Jan Roar Mjølnerød tried a little too much on the homestretch and U.f.o started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Close Hero won. Fake Thing came in second. Muscular Energy caught third place.
