One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grasping Thought tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Franca Sozzani Boss that came steaming ahead.




Eternal Moon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Franca Sozzani Boss looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Grasping Thought couldn't come out from behind the leader, Eternal Moon.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Eternal Moon followed by Grasping Thought and Carmen Dalia. Lane two Franca Sozzani Boss followed by Sowing Forest and .



Grasping Thought was first on the homestretch followed by Franca Sozzani Boss and Eternal Moon.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sowing Forest galop. Sowing Forest lost 20 m.




Grasping Thought kept the speed the whole finish and won before Franca Sozzani Boss and Eternal Moon.
