The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Criminal Mrs Bucket. Polished Blizzard ended up behind the leader. Grande Fierté got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Brave Rhapsody showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Grande Fierté was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Hot Update sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and Coughing Dream took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Coughing Dream today. It continued in the lead.

Brave Rhapsody was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Grande Fierté speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Criminal Mrs Bucket, 2 Hot Update, 3 Coughing Dream.
