Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Millie Onion found a gap and took the lead. Zero followed before Ticking Cake.




This is the positions after 500m. Ticking Cake, Toowoomba, Zero, Katie Cox, Suivi Nuages, Rolling Bouquet, Millie Onion, Playing Peach. Playing Peach started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Toowoomba sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Toowoomba today. It continued in the lead. Suivi Nuages galloped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Ticking Cake gallopped for 50 m.



Toowoomba sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Katie Cox sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
