It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Beusichem found a gap and took the lead. Stretching Hope followed before North Ant.

Beusichem was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Stretching Hope sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Flying Pain galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

North Ant saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

North Ant kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

North Ant looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was North Ant. Beusichem came in second. Stretching Hope became third.
