One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Zardini could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Zardini started to galop and lost 40 m.




A Scary Thing saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Zardini started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Tuber took the lead after 1000m. Ottawa Thunder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nassau Hof was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Tuber didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
