It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Orgullo De Su took the lead after a very quick start.




Nuclear Warning saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Sowing Forest looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Amunt Valencia couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nuclear Warning.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nuclear Warning followed by Amunt Valencia and Nooit Voldaan. Lane two Sowing Forest followed by Euphony Moussolou and Oracle.



Nuclear Warning were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Final standings. 1 Nooit Voldaan, 2 Sowing Forest, 3 Nuclear Warning.
