Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Bollnäs track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Zizu sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Leif Witasp wanted a little to much in the start and Pessimisten Ameste galoped for 50 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Straxdax Opal sprinted to the front. Kieft showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Zizu looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Criminal Ironman couldn't come out from behind the leader, Straxdax Opal. Criminal Ironman saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Zizu started to gallop after 1500m and Niclas Torstemo had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Criminal Ironman sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Monkey On Fire galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Quasimodo Hof won. Célesse came in second. Nihel caught third place.
