The sun was shining on Kannus and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleepy Madame tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Energicky that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Veera started to galop and lost 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Energicky followed by License To Chew and Rocking Blizzard. Lane two Stopping Bullet followed by Veera and Sleepy Madame.



Stopping Bullet litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Stopping Bullet didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
