One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Cocktail tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stopping Gossip that came steaming ahead.




Stopping Gossip was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Aagje looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stepping Cocktail couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stopping Gossip.




Stepping Cocktail looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Stepping Cocktail sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Aagje sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
