The weather had been good all week and Bergen was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Golden Lizard took the lead after a very quick start.

Mad Jewel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Mad Jewel was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Walking Necklace suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mad Jewel today. It continued in the lead.

Mad Jewel sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Gold Frutti Di Mare was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Dreaming General galoped for 50 m. Mad Jewel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Lars Raaum tried a little too much on the homestretch and Slow Stroller started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Tiger Matter made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Mad Jewel.
