The weather had been good all week and Karlshamn was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eureka sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Beach Boy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Ghostly Wind started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Eureka looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Charmed Addiction couldn't come out from behind the leader, Beach Boy.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Beach Boy today. It continued in the lead.



Brave Plan was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Charmed Addiction speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Charmed Addiction kept the speed the whole finish and won before Eureka and Beach Boy.
