One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Stay Together could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Stay Together was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Anky accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Essi gallopped for 50 m. Stay Together put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Stay Together sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Stay Together kept the speed the whole finish and won before Kahdesti Komea and Anky. Results
