One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Russian Pyramid sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Party Inspector quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Moustique who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Vicious Vampire took the lead after 1000m. Landslide Victory didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Vicious Vampire was still in the lead after 1500m.




Vicious Vampire kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Vicious Vampire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Landslide Victory won. Vicious Vampire came in second. Triton's Night caught third place.
