One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Apache Rebel sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Reagan Hof, Sheringham The Man, Moving Play, Spijk Z, Platinum Bandwith, Close Legend, Hard Way, Nessla Kool Thing.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Sheringham The Man was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Reagan Hof was still in the lead after 1500m.

Reagan Hof sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Hard Way won the race after a spectacular finish.
