The weather had been good all week and Lycksele was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Valiant could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Red Hot Chili Peppers Superior suddenly started to galop. Carl Johan Jepson had to struggle to get Red Hot Chili Peppers Superior to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Advanced Devil sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and Striking Ballerina took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Striking Ballerina followed by Athletic Bandwith and Red Hot Chili Peppers Superior. Lane two Advanced Devil followed by Unique Law and Trainer Express.

Athletic Bandwith speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Trainer Express sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
