The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Jeannol sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Etalon Rapide started to galop and lost 30 m.

Jeannol was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Etalon Rapide who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Clever Mountain took the lead after 1000m. Jeannol didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Clever Mountain followed by Slippery Hero and Gold Ibracadabra. Lane two Jeannol followed by Ziemlich Gut and Trotting In Stereo.

Clever Mountain sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gold Ibracadabra was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Jeannol sprinted over the finishline before Jorkki and Clever Mountain.
