One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Narkissos Hope could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Eleganten, Stridsvagn, Halmstad Pegasos, Ghostly Wonder, Carlos La Star, Narkissos Hope, Valiant, Ewing Oil Lore.




Ghostly Wonder looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Valiant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Eleganten.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Eleganten today. It continued in the lead.



Valiant was first on the homestretch followed by Ghostly Wonder and Narkissos Hope.






Halmstad Pegasos never caught up with Valiant who won. Ghostly Wonder came third.
