One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Insider took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.




The Insider was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Trespasser looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sergeant Wave couldn't come out from behind the leader, The Insider. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Dead Wave galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one The Insider followed by Trespasser and Hot Rival. Lane two Weiss Taube followed by Sergeant Wave and Tell No Lies.



Dead Wave was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. The Insider kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Trespasser won the race after a spectacular finish.
