One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Micki Cola Cherry sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Tiger Matter, Micki Cola Cherry, Violet Hill, Epoken Kent, Opposing Lilac, , , . No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Tiger Matter was still in the lead after 1500m. Tiger Matter kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Violet Hill won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
