One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mr Ice could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Decottignies clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Briggs Law accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Decottignies suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Mr Ice won the race after a spectacular finish.
