It had been raining for several days at Pihtipudas but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





L'Étoile Mystérieuse sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Slow Striker suddenly started to galop. Ville Pohjola had to struggle to get Slow Striker to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




Slow Striker was in fine shape and held the lead.




Glowing Drama was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Glowing Drama today. It continued in the lead.




Glowing Drama sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Slow Striker was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Calm And Quiet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Port-au-prince Superior kept the speed the whole finish and won before L'Étoile Mystérieuse and Calm And Quiet.
