It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wigwam could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Belmondo was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Starstruck Daffodil quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Wigwam took the lead after 1000m. Kortney didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Wigwam was still in the lead after 1500m.



Maximum Bandwith was first on the homestretch followed by Travelling Twister and Kortney.

driver couldn't keep Belmondo to trotting so they were disqualified.




Winner of todays race was Maximum Bandwith. Travelling Twister came in second. Kortney became third.
