Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halsua track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rapid Champ sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gentleman Architecture sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Show Me Heaven who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Gentleman Architecture clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Show Me Heaven suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

driver couldn't keep Show Me Heaven to trotting so they were disqualified. Face To Face galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Show Me Heaven showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Gentleman Architecture clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Show Me Heaven galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Quality Bet never caught up with Gentleman Architecture who won. Rapid Champ came third.
