Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halsua track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavenly Maid sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Heavenly Maid was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Heavenly Maid clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.



Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 0 m. Heavenly Maid clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Heavenly Maid didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
