One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Volvoette found a gap and took the lead. Sliding Striker followed before Sénac. This is the positions after 500m. Sénac, Volvoette, Blondell, Genivée, Sliding Striker, Advanced Boulder, , . Sénac clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Genivée saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Genivée sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Volvoette litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. driver couldn't keep Sliding Striker to trotting so they were disqualified. Winner of todays race was Volvoette. Genivée came in second. Sénac became third. Results
