One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Decottignies tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Happy Cube that came steaming ahead. This is the positions after 500m. Decottignies, Happy Summer, Happy Cube, Force Du Face, Flying Thinking, , , . Force Du Face started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Decottignies today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Happy Cube gallopped for 20 m. Decottignies sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Decottignies looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Happy Cube made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Happy Summer. Results
