One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Stretching Diamond. Handy Satellite ended up behind the leader. Young Mom got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Heavenly Darkness started to galop and lost 50 m.

Young Mom quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The Sheriff looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that License To Sleep couldn't come out from behind the leader, Young Mom. Handy Satellite suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Young Mom followed by The Sheriff and Stretching Diamond. Lane two License To Sleep followed by Handy Satellite and Fleury. Drooling Rocket started to gallop after 1500m and Gunnar Austevoll had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Heavenly Darkness started to gallop after 1500m and Johan Kringeland Eriksen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Handy Satellite was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Young Mom sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Young Mom. License To Sleep came in second. The Sheriff became third.
