One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sun King tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cordiale that came steaming ahead. Cordiale was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Steel Judge suddenly started to galop. Øystein Tjomsland had to struggle to get Steel Judge to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

Gold Fast Tiger quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Duveteux was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Carlsbad Gap was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Cordiale sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Cordiale followed by Steel Judge and Duveteux. Lane two Lucky Mistress followed by Sun King and Malkin On.

Lucky Mistress put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Darmstadtio Vox was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

Lucky Mistress sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Cordiale sprinted over the finishline before Lucky Mistress and Duveteux.
