It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Koning Cobra. Starstruck Daffodil ended up behind the leader. Cohens Law got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Hanna Lähdekorpi wanted a little to much in the start and Hong Kong galoped for 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. San Diego Royal, Starstruck Daffodil, Cohens Law, Van Der Weijden, Koning Cobra, Rienks, Bright As The Sun Pegasos, Driver´s Choice.

San Diego Royal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop San Diego Royal today. It continued in the lead. Hong Kong galloped for 10 m.

Van Der Weijden showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. San Diego Royal looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Windstilte was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. driver couldn't keep Hong Kong to trotting so they were disqualified.

Koning Cobra sprinted over the finishline before Starstruck Daffodil and Cohens Law.
